My vision
My family and I love living in this wonderful
community and beautiful city, and I want to help Foster City remain a marvelous place to live
and work. I will be an advocate for all residents to ensure that our city
remains fiscally sound and well-managed. I will work with the council to ensure
that our city has dependable, long-term revenue sources, economizes on
expenditures, and maintains a healthy budget reserve.
Through my connections with the global
high-tech industry, I will strive to increase Foster City's visibility and bring new
businesses to occupy our underutilized commercial properties, generating both
jobs and revenue for our city. I will also endeavor to help Foster City grow in ways that are
environmentally friendly.
I am a mother of two children who attend Foster City public schools. I believe that a
good educational foundation is critical for all children, and strongly support
the proposed Community
Education Center
with a public charter high school at its core. Establishing a public high
school in Foster City
will boost property values and the city's tax revenues. I want this Community Education Center
to serve all ages, from young children to seniors, so I will reach out to local
organizations to promote educational and cultural activities in our city.
